Eric Sorenson

Wealth Advisor

Eric is dedicated to building lasting relationships grounded in trust, transparency, and a genuine understanding of what matters most to each client. He enjoys simplifying complex financial concepts and creating clear, actionable plans that help clients feel confident about their future.

Eric developed an early interest in business through his father, a successful entrepreneur who shared valuable lessons about hard work, leadership, and perseverance. When his father’s business was deeply impacted by the financial crisis, Eric became determined to better understand money, investing, and financial planning. What began as a personal pursuit soon grew into a passion. As a teenager, he spent countless hours teaching himself the fundamentals of personal finance, laying the foundation for what would eventually become his career.

Born and raised in Henderson, Nevada, Eric played football at Coronado High School before earning his bachelor’s degree in finance from UNLV. He graduated a semester early with Cum Laude honors while working full time. He was also a member of the Rebel Investment Group, a student-run fund that gave him hands-on experience managing a real portfolio. Collaborating with fellow students, conducting research, and evaluating investment opportunities further strengthened his interest in a career in wealth management.

On a personal note…

  • Eric enjoys staying active and can often be found lifting weights, hiking, playing pickleball, or golfing.
  • He met his sweetheart, Lauren, just before starting high school, and the two have been best friends ever since.
  • Eric and Lauren share their home with Goose, a spoiled but lovable Goldendoodle who firmly believes that everyone he meets is a new best friend.
  • Faith, family, and community play an important role in Eric’s life, and he enjoys spending time with family, friends, and his church community whenever possible.
  • He is a longtime fan of The Office and would probably have it playing on the TV around the clock if Lauren would allow it.
